I had an incredible time being the wedding photographer for Z&C’s fusion wedding at the iconic BMA House in London. This vibrant celebration brought together Irish and Hindu traditions in a perfect blend of love, colour, and joy.
Nestled in the heart of Euston, BMA House offered a stunning backdrop for Z&C’s special day. Located in Tavistock Square, this Grade II listed building, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911, has been the proud home of the British Medical Association since 1925. It’s an award-winning, sustainable venue and an ideal choice for weddings. As a wedding photographer, BMA House truly felt like a dream location. With its rich heritage, picturesque courtyard, exquisite gardens, and the majestic Great Hall, every corner of this venue provided the perfect setting for capturing unforgettable moments.
The Courtyard
Photographing the courtyard at BMA House was a delight. As guests entered through the grand wrought iron gates, they were greeted by the serene beauty of a central fountain, setting a warm and inviting tone. This charming space became a natural gathering point for family and friends as they mingled and caught up while Z&C prepared for their big moment.
The courtyard offered a wealth of incredible photo opportunities. From candid balcony shots to the lively moments unfolding below, its versatility was unmatched. Capturing the joy of Z&C’s loved ones as they toasted with champagne, enjoyed music, and played giant-sized Jenga and Connect Four was great fun.

Bride & Groom Prep
BMA house in London has several rooms for the bride and groom to get ready. I was able to easily transition between the two rooms to photograph Z&C prep, which is perfect for a photographer. Z’s bridal room had enough space for hair and markup artists for her bridesmaid and family.
The Great Hall for the Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast
The Great Hall at BMA House in London truly lives up to its name—an elegant and grand space ideal for larger weddings. With its 28-foot-high ceilings and tall windows, the hall is covered in natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
For Z&C’s wedding, the venue perfectly accommodated their 120 guests, who were visibly impressed by the beauty of the room as they entered. The ceremony itself was beautifully arranged by BMA’s event team, featuring a floral backdrop that matched the style of a fusion wedding. The romantic addition of two violinists and a cello provided a beautiful musical accompaniment as Z&C exchanged their heartfelt vows.

The Garden for the Couple and Group Photographs
The garden was one of my favourite spots to photograph the couple. It’s the oldest part of BMA House, famously linked to Charles Dickens and his time writing Great Expectations. With vibrant flowers, green plants, and a central water feature, the garden provided a stunning backdrop for couple and family shots. Its versatility allowed me to capture a variety of beautiful moments effortlessly. The garden holds around 90 people, which means it can also be the perfect location for an outdoor wedding!

The Snow Room for the Dance Floor
Z&C hosted their evening reception in the Snow Room, conveniently located on the ground floor with direct access to the courtyard. True to its name, the Snow Room is light and elegant, featuring floor-to-ceiling arched windows and 15-foot-high ceilings that create an open, spacious feel. With a capacity of around 100 guests, it was the perfect setting for Z&C and their loved ones to enjoy a lively and colourful dance floor.

The Princes Room for the Evening Reception
The Princes Room at BMA House exudes regal elegance, with its chandeliers and Corinthian columns adorned in gold leaf. Z&C used this space for canapés and evening food, providing guests a chance to relax during the evening reception.
Located in central London, BMA House offers versatile rooms with unique charm and a secluded feel. As a wedding photographer, it’s an ideal venue for stunning couple portraits and candid shots, with endless backdrop options to beautifully capture the story of my clients’ wedding. It’s a perfect location for a Fusion wedding.
