Situated conveniently close to the master room, the bridal suite offers a luxurious and serene environment for O and her bridesmaids to prepare for the wedding. Its spacious, naturally lit room allowed for capturing candid moments of excitement, anticipation, and joy as O and her bridesmaids got ready—a perfect setup for wedding photography. The bridal room at GreenTrees was large enough to comfortably several bridesmaid with multiple mirrors and seating. Although the morning was a little bit cloudy, there was still plenty of natural light shining into the suite which meant that the bride and bridesmaid did not need to get dressed in artificial light.

Groom Preparation at the venue

In one section of the GreenTrees Estate, Sussex, close to the where guests entered the venue, G and his groomsmen had their own stylish space to get ready. This allowed me to photograph G and his groomsmen preparation in both a documentary and portraiture style.

The main hall at GreenTrees Estate, Sussex is a wedding photographers dream for capturing traditional wedding ceremonies. Its high ceilings and spacious layout create a magnificent setting. The natural light streaming through the windows adds a soft, romantic glow, making both documentary and portraiture photographs elegant and beautiful. O’s grand entrance was full of emotion and there were several happy and tearful cheers for me to capture during the exchanging of vows, making it memorable to photograph.

After the wedding ceremony, the drinks reception and canapés were held outdoors in the gardens, which feature a stunning lake—a perfect backdrop for capturing candid, natural moments. Guests mingling amidst the green gardens, offered countless natural storytelling and documentary shots. The natural beauty of the gardens provides a perfect setting to capture the essence of celebration and togetherness celebrating O&G’s day.

The greenery, scenic pathways, and tranquil lake created a romantic and enchanting backdrop for me to caputue O&G’s natural and elegant couple shots. I loved photographing some golden hours shots for the couple.

Wedding Breakfast inside GreenTrees Estate

The wedding breakfast was held in the same room as their wedding ceremony. The elegant and traditional setting, combined with great food and exceptional service, created a perfect atmosphere for capturing heartfelt toasts, laughter, and candid moments of guests enjoying the celebration.

Dancing and emotional at the GreenTrees Estate in Sussex

The GreenTrees Estate, Sussex had a room divider that transformed into a lively dancefloor. I really enjoyed photographing O&G’s energy and excitement as their guests danced the night away. As a natural and unobtrusive wedding photographer, I love the party side of the wedding as both the newlyweds and guests are more relaxed enabling me to truly capture candid and spontaneous photos, showcasing the fun and joy of the wedding celebration. This allows me to continue the storytelling elements of the wedding. GreenTrees Estate has a very large dance floor that allows guests to easily access the bar and continue dancing. O&G had a fun DJ that played all types of genres from recent songs to the classics.
